One key thing when you are in a dynasty league is to continue to watch for players that may have more significant roles next year.
David Nelson, the former Florida WR, has increased his role in the past couple of weeks as WR Lee Evans role continues to diminish. So far, Nelson has 27 catches for 281 yards and a touchdown. In his last two games alone, Nelson has 10 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. The Bills might decide to stay young and jettison Evans after this year along with the development of “Holy” Steve Johnson.
Jacksonville’s Zach Miller has made the transition from college option QB to professional TE. Miller could very well take over the starting TE job next year if Mercedes Lewis leaves for greener pastures. Miller is very athletic and his 2010 numbers in 12 games look very close to his 2009 numbers. He had 21 catches for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2009. So far, Miller has produced 20 catches for 216 yards and a touchdown this year.
Keep an eye on both of these guys and if you have the roster room, pick one or both up for 2011.
