This continues the breakdown regarding all of my existing fantasy football dynasty teams.  The SiriusXM Dynasty League has a bit of historical background that needs to be discussed first.  It was the brainchild of my good friend, Jim rg3Day (@FantasyTaz), who got asked at the Fantasy Football Fest held in Atlantic City in the summer of 2012 to start a superstar dynasty league.  This is a 32 team league with two separate conferences that do not play each other until the title game.  There are many fantasy football luminaries in the league with people from SiriusXM, PFF, Footballguys, Draft Sharks, the fantasy hall of famer Greg Kellogg (@Komments), and even Shane P Hallam (@ShanePHallam).  I am proud to say that I have made the playoffs in both years finishing fourth in my division and made a few changes to be even stronger this year.  The starting lineups are the following:  1 QB, 1-3 RBs, 3-5 WRs, 1-3 TEs, 1 K, -3 DTs, 2-4 DEs, 3-4 LBs, 1-3 CBs, 2-4 Ss and it is equal PPR scoring, 4pt passing touchdowns and all other touchdowns worth 6pts.  There is a somewhat tier based tackles scoring with linebackers getting the least amount for tackles with bonuses for sacks to defensive linemen.  You can find the league here: http://www9.myfantasyleague.com/2014/home/13646#0

QBs-Robert Griffin, Joe Flacco, Michael Vick (start 1)

Last season the quarterback position was a weakness on my team, but I made a trade that sent LB Alec Ogletree and my rookie 2.11 for Griffin and his 3.08.  I think it  worked out well for both of teams.  I am a bit weaker at linebacker now, but it is worth it for the upgrade at quarterback.  Flacco is a solid, but unspectacular backup and with Vick you never know. This is a strength in a 16 team league.

RBs- Joique Bell, Trent Richardson, Pierre Thomas, Carlos Hyde, Chris Johnson, Isaiah Crowell (start 1-3)

While I do not have a true superstar runner on this team, there is a lot of talent there.  Bell should be more productive this season.  T-Rich will be given the first crack at the Colts lead runner job.  Thomas might get more Darren Sproles type work and Frank Gore is getting older by the second, so Hyde could see a few carries this season.  I’m not expecting more than two or three decent games for CJ?K and Crowell could be a bigger question mark, but worth a shot.  In 16 team type leagues, this is more than enough to be a contender with this many horses at running back. I will probably place Crowell on my taxi squad to see if he can stay on the Browns roster for the year.

WRs- Brandon Marshall, TY Hilton, Mike Wallace, Marvin Jones, Stevie Johnson, Chris Givens, John Brown (start 3-5)

This is the most talented position on my squad.  Marshall shows the consistent week to week WR1 production.  Hilton, Wallace, and Jones can all produce top 15 numbers depending on the week.  Hopefully a new environment will assist Johnson to a few more years of fantasy production and with Bradford coming back will be enough to get Givens back to a good level of production.  Brown is a taxi squad stash for the season.

TEs- Brent Celek, Travis Kelce, Vance McDonald, Tim Wright (start 1-3)

Like most of my team, this position is steady and holds no superstars.  Celek is a dependable blocker and receiver.  Kelce is full of upside and injury risk.  McDonald hasn’t done anything behind one of the best tight ends that is holding out.  Wright might get phased out of the offense with Austin Sefarian-Jenkins in town.

K-Gostkowski, Novak (start 1)

I have two kickers with the same bye, sorry I wasted a line on this position. Thankfully there are free agent starting kickers in this league (sarcasm alert).

DTs- Glenn Dorsey, Steve McClendon (start 1-3)

This is pretty much the bare minimum in starting quality defensive tackle in a 16 teamer.  I will be hitting the waiver wire for a few hidden gems.

DEs- Malik Jackson, Kendall Reyes, Corey Wootton, Damontre Moore, Margus Hunt, Kony Ealy (start 2-4)

If unproven high-upside youngsters are your bag, this is the squad to have.  I can put Ealy on the taxi squad, but will need to figure our early in the season which of these will produce and replace the others.  This might be my weakest position in the league.

LBs- Derrick Johnson, AJ Hawk, Sean Lee, Christian Kirksey, Craig Robertson, Kevin Burnett (start 3-4)

I am at linebacker what you would call old and top-heavy.  Johnson and Hawk are good, seasoned backers that don’t have much shelf life left.  Lee is dominant when he is healthy, but won’t be in 2014. I have the other Browns inside backer with either Kirksey or Robertson and it looks like Burnett has lost his starting job to Sio Moore. There are a few linebackers on waivers that can help this team, but I would say this position is very average.

CBs- Brandon Browner, Terence Newman, Lardarius Webb (start 1-3)

If cornerbacks float your boat, this core of them is solid if Browner shakes off the injury and character concerns.  Newman and Webb play in a surprisingly pass-oriented AFC North against talented receivers like Antonio Brown.  Although they are much like kickers to me, the corner backs do the job.

Ss- Michael Mitchell, Tashaun Gipson, Dashon Goldson, Lamarcus Joyner (start 2-4)

Mitchell should provide an upgrade in Pittsburgh’s secondary versus what Ryan Clark has done the past few seasons.  Gipson and Goldson are two decent free safeties that should put up starter level points playing with improved linebacker cores.  Joyner is a taxi squad candidate.

Chance to win the league: I feel good about third playoff run in a row, but I need to find a few gems on defense.
