After getting back from NYC, there is a sense of NFL optimism in the air. Finally, every fantasy owner knows where each player was drafted and is trying to decide whom they should select in their rookie draft.
Hopefully all the games will be played but remember if the NFL calendar keeps dragging on, it will affect the rookies the most. I’d like to clarify that my dynasty rookie draft board is based on talent over opportunity. At times, this may seem like a different thought process than you might usually use. As an example of this, before the draft Detroit’s RB Mikel Leshoure was ranked above Miami’s Daniel Thomas. Leshoure will be sharing carries with Jahvid Best and before the results of free agency are known, it appears that Thomas will be handed the starting RB job in Miami. Talent remains while opportunities can fade, just ask former Detroit RBs Kevin Jones and Kevin Smith. I based these ranking on talent while using point per reception scoring.
