Matt Waldman, a writer for who has been contributing to the Fifth Down leading up to the draft, has a simple way to grade draft prospects: judge them on how they perform on the field. The other part is not so simple: long hours of film analysis (check) and having an understanding wife (check). Waldman has written his sixth edition of the Rookie Scouting Portfolio, an 859-page analysis of prospects at quarterback, running back, tight end and wide receiver. A free sample is available here.
